Autoimmune healing is a journey you don’t have to take alone.

Learning you have an autoimmune illness evokes a wide range of emotions.

On the one hand, you might feel relieved there is an explanation for what you are experiencing. On the other hand, it can be overwhelming to figure out how to chart a path forward especially if you are not feeling well.

Building a team of practitioners is key!

Before pursuing a master’s degree in human nutrition, I was trained as a certified health coach. The most valuable skill I learned was how to listen and respect that my clients were the experts when it came to knowing what was best for them.

The Autoimmune Protocol, developed by Sarah Ballantyne, PhD, Angie Alt, and Mickey Trescott, is a client-centered approach that encourages you to trust your intuition. For this reason and because the science makes a lot of sense and people get better with this approach, I completed a program offered by these amazing trailblazers to become an AIP Certified Coach.

Nutrition and lifestyle factors can either contribute to autoimmune illness or become the best tools you have to regain your health.

While a primary goal is to calm the immune system by finding the most health-promoting and nourishing foods, just as important is taking a careful look at lifestyle factors such as stress, sleep, movement, and connection. We will do all of this together!
